Which is better: DSL or Cable?
When deciding on which way to receive you internet connection, there is a common question. Which connection type should I choose: high speed DSL or Cable providers? Each connection line has its own pros and cons. DSL connects to your home through your phone line while Cable is a direct line run to your home that will have your internet, phone, and television run through it. DSL can be more accessible is rural areas and areas far outside of cities, where as cable has a limited distance it can go before losing its benefits. The price is also a deciding factor. The prices between the two aren’t a great difference, but cable has proven to be consistently cheaper than a DSL connection. Finally, it comes down to the consumer and what is most convenient and cost effective for them. They both can provide similar speeds and their connections are on 24/7. Price and availability are the key points to making your choice.
