OK, so I’ve played Red Alert 3 through the campaigns now and I can honestly say that the acting is so delightfully tacky. I love how the actors are basically in on the joke and it doesn’t try for a second to be anywhere close to serious. Xbox 360 Blog reports that the all star cast has been hailed by many critics as a nod to the gaming community that Hollywood realizes our appeal and mainstream potential. I personally believe that Videogames stand a good chance of surpassing Hollywood in the future because the widespread appeal and ease of development (relatively). A videogame still costs a lot less to develop than a blockbuster movie and the profits are actually getting to be a little much the same.
