Most people do not know what a call center is. Or at least most people believe that the only purpose is to call and harass you with advertising. However there two types of call centers one is inbound and one is an outbound. The business call centers are used for efficiency reasons.
Like anything if you have everyone who does the same type of job in the same place you can more easily communicate and control quality. So they call center that takes incoming calls for customer support is best if everyone is in one place. Then the software or automated system can easily monitor what everyone’s doing, and their efficiency.
