When going into a an area to teach the word of God and set up a new church, New Tribes Mission does things differently than most other missionary organizations. They first learn the language completely then they actually teach the Bible to the people who are interested in learning it. They teach it chronologically starting with Genesis and the creation and going through all of the Old Testament and then the New Testament and the teachings of Christ. The places they visit have had no previous introduction to the Bible so this historical background is very necessary in a complete education.
