The man behind the Pure Pitch Method is Ryan Cameron.  At first glance he’s a pretty ordinary person.  He’s a guitar player, but he’s not world famous for his guitar skills.  The one thing he does have that very few other people have is perfect pitch.  And the way he went about getting it is pretty unique.  Instead of just naturally having perfect pitch, it was something that he had to learn.  His music teacher actually laughed at him when he said he was going to develop perfect pitch.  She had erroneously believed (as do most other music experts) that you either have perfect pitch or you don’t and there’s nothing you can do about it if you don’t.
