My husband does not travel on long trips without equipping himself with some sort of knife or gun for protection. At first I was uncomfortable knowing this, but now I think it is a great idea. If he is ever stranded somewhere he can protect himself a little bit. What I do not like is that he can not find adequate motorcycle jackets to be long enough to cover up the piece he is carrying and he can be comfortable riding in as well. I wish I could find him a longer jacket that is closed at the bottom to cut off the wind from coming up but that he would be comfortable in a long ride with.
