My wife and I went driving through a new community in our part of town last week.  We like to drive through them and see all the new styles and designs and houses in our area.  We noticed while we were driving through this neighborhood that all the lots had yard address plaques in them.  They were all very nicely done and it gave a feeling on consistency to the streets, even though the houses were all very different in style and color.  The plaques all matched in color and were roughly the same size.  some people had their names on them, some were just the street address.
