I found several types of stain that looked like they would work for me, but then came across an article in the newspaper about a local company. Amteco had been producing deck stains and oils for over twenty five years and I had never heard of them before. This city is just too big. I decided that if Amteco had been around for twenty five years and is still going strong, then I should be using their brand of stain for my deck. I found a local supplier and bought all that i would need, and a little extra for my parents deck.
