There’s a big rush to invest in homemade solar power, but I have to say that it’s not the answer for everybody. Who wouldn’t benefit? Well, the utility companies. They’re such an integral part or our economy, and any depletion of their profits would have a definite effect on the whole shooting match. Is that a bad thing? Yes, in a way. Our economy is in such a hole right now, that anything else that disrupts the system could have disastrous results. Is this really a problem? No, I’m being ironic. Can’t you tell? Of course we need to invest in sustainable energy. It’s high time, and the power companies just need to get with the program. They’ll survive, if they’re smart about it.
