To prolong the existence of our contemporary slipcovers, it is important that we correctly wash them to avoid the colors from fading, or having the slipcovers shrink or misshapen simply because of wrong washing procedures.

We must first make sure that the slipcover is machine washable because others are good only for dry cleaning. 

Looking for stains and removing them with stain removers before putting them in the machine is likewise essential.

We must also set the wash temperature according to the washing instructions normally specified in the label. 

Once we have done cleaning them, drying them out on a clothes line is recommended instead of using the dryer; again, this will reduce the fabric from shrinking or fading.
