The treatment of choice with any surgery today is the use of lasers. Lasers prevent the complication of infection and sometimes bleeding. Using lasers for stretch mark removal is the most recommended and asked for treatment.  The laser is used to remove areas of skin affected by stretch marks.  The eximer laser is the one mostly used.  The eximer laser is a high-energy ultraviolet laser disrupting molecular bonds in the skin causing ablation to occur. All if any side effects that occur are temporary and minor. Using this treatment the healing occurs very quickly.  Always use sunscreen after any skin problem treatment.
