A diet for belly fat loss

Almost every diet book and dieting program that surges to media popularity makes it fairly complicated for the average person to follow and achieve long term fat loss success. For a successful diet for belly fat loss, we need to achieve a slight caloric deficit each week without causing the metabolism to decline from the starvation hormonal trigger.

The way we do this is to have at least 1 “cheat day” or “overfeeding day” each week.  This stimulates your metabolism back up due to the insulin and leptin response caused from the one day of overeating. The key to this is that the other 6 days/week are kept in caloric deficit, so that you will actually lose weight.
