Taking on salsa dancing is brave and for most men can prove to be difficult.  The main reason is the guy has to have the timing down as well as all the moves in order to lead the lady.  To keep the lady entertained the man must use many different moves in different variations.  One solution for example is a friend of mine downloaded an app on his  Apple Iphone 3G 8GB Smartphone so he could learn new moves no matter where he is.  The app connects to certain salsa sites where he can then choose which moves he wants to learn.  He always has new moves.
