What is recruitment

The simple answer is that recruitment is the process of sourcing, screening, and selecting people for a job or vacancy within an organization. The process can get very complex depending on the level of job or career a recruiter is attempting to fill. Not only do they need to find candidates with the proper work experience and skills, the need to find candidates that will become an asset to the company that hires. This can be a daunting exercise because many recruiters worry about putting someone in a job that for one reason or another just can’t keep it. They consider that a failure and thus are very often over cautious because failures cost future contracts with their clients.
