“Locking” a certain cell phone model to a certain phone network is not a surprising marketing strategy of many mobile phone networks nowadays. Having this assured investment guarantees the telecommunication company protection from the on-going “death match” among rival networks and market players. And although the compassionate part of our consciousness tells us to go for locked units and contribute to save the phone network provider from annihilation, it was a practical choice to go for your Unlocked Cellular Phones phone. Do you know the downside of having a locked phone unit? When your contract with the phone network ceases, your phone becomes useless – you’re literally being tied down with one. Unless you want to get tangled up with only one network provider – then go choose otherwise.
