Back in the beginning of the internet their were plenty of opportunities to make a few bucks. You could just about sell anything you wanted and the internet was but another way to do that. The problem came in when you had to receive payment from people. Even back then, and especially so people were extremely leery of giving out their credit card number over the internet. Somewhere around 1998 a company called PayPal came out and changed everything.
