I am in the business of California Payday Loans. I get some people who think I provide a great service and others who think that I am the slime of the earth. These consumer advocate types think that I am ripping people off. What, would they rather that I get ripped off instead. We have to keep the interest rate high because the default is so great on these types of loans. The people that we are loaning money to are not, shall we say, the cream of the crop in the financial world. They default on their loans all the time.
