Historically there are been two main places where to buy used cars, these were purchased from, either from a car dealer or from a private sale. This would either mean the trawling around of dealers’ forecourts or the purchase of magazine advertising sales of used cars. For the few brave people out there a visit to a local car auction was not out of the question.  With technological developments though comes further choice. Now it is possible to search through thousands of used cars using the internet. In essence they are an expansion of the old car magazines, although on a much bigger scale. You can now buy used cars by viewing cars by location, price, as well as make and model.
