One thing that would be cool to do for kids if they are bored on a road trip. They could count the hitch bike racks that are attached to vehicles. They could count each one they see. It’s a lot different then just counting cars. Because it’s not like you see one every time you see a car, so it would make it more interesting. You can have them count how many they see from where you leave to where you are going. Most kids would like doing something like that because it keeps them busy for a while, plus they get to count.
