I was watching TV the other night, and this commercial came on the local access channel I subscribe to advertising a local music store that just opened. They said they were giving away free acoustic guitar lesson this coming Sunday afternoon. That sounded like a great idea, so I made sure to write it down in my calendar. When I got there, there were about fifty people in this little shop. I didn’t know that many people watched public access TV. But the guy gave a great lesson, and was really good and moving everybody along at pretty much the same pace. I was glad that I went. I signed up for a group lesson that meets every Thursday night, so that should be pretty good.
