Fashion design is more complex than many people believe.  From understanding the business itself, to choosing  fabric, fitting and cutting methods, and presentation of a portfolio. There have been many technological developments that are changing the fashion industry including drawing and making techniques.  Fashion designer careers are also expanding and students in art colleges studying fashion design have a better chance of getting a good start in their chosen careers. The qualities and skills needed to become a fashion designer are still high but the opportunities are there for anyone willing to work hard to achieve them. The sky is the limit!!
